The Chartering Desk is boosted by the addition this month of Heiko Hinrichs and Joschka Boeddeling, with 25+ combined years of experience in the Projects/Breakbulk sector, both will be based from Carisbrooke’s European offices and according to James McConachie, Chartering Director, “their respective appointments represent a very positive step in the continued development of our MPP desk. We are delighted to add both gentlemen to our Team. Their skills, experience, enthusiasm and drive to succeed, are all very much welcomed”.
These appointments follow closely on the back-of Carisbrooke’s recently added commercial relationship with newly-formed Singapore-based broker AMBRO-PROJECTS as their exclusive general sales agent, for projects/breakbulk, in Pacific Asia and Australia.
Headed-up by Jesper Traerup, formerly of Hansa Heavy Lift and Scan-Trans, Ambro-Project's remit is wide-ranging but focusing on Project/breakbulk business throughout the entire Asian region. In this respect, McConachie adds, “Linking-up with Mr Traerup represents a very positive step forward in developing Carisbrooke’s MPP presence in Pacific Asia. Knowledge-flow is key to effective decision-making within any organisation and Jesper has a significant history in both the MPP/Breakbulk sector, and the Asian region in particular. We are very pleased that Ambro-Projects have agreed to represent Carisbrooke in this regard and look forward to working together and developing each other’s respective business”.
Carisbrooke’s current fleet is comprised of 65 general cargo/bulk vessels between 5-13k dwt, of which 21 are fully tween multipurpose vessels with lifting capabilities ranging from 40-160 tonnes.
Managed in-house to highest ‘Rightship’ standards, and with OVID capability, Carisbrooke’s business model is focused on offering customers the right blend of high quality, modern tonnage with humility, integrity, professionalism and performance.
