Dynamic and static load tests of the floating barge ,which has been manufactured for the name of Palmali Marine at Besiktas shipyard, and equiped with 400 tons Liebherr brand cranes carried out by SAFETMADE Marine Products Company . Four of 100 tons and three of 40 tons water bags have been used for the biggest tonnage weight test that has been done at Caspian Sea until now .

Managing Director of the company Captain Ercan Hacifettahoglu, as we asked his thoughts about the subject, told that the company is one of the few companies in the world for heavy load tests and they are experiencing the pride of being a company that is well known and proved its quality about these tonnages .

Captain Ercan Hacifettahoglu told that both dynamic and also static weight tests for the crane has ben carried out after installation, and it has been prepared to work at the end of tests in 5 days by doing several maneuvers with 5 tons , 92.1 tons, 400 tons and 440 Tons loads. As it was one of the highest load test at Caspian Sea region ,they got so much attention and he emphasized that they feel honoured for the greetings they got after carrying out the tests succesfully . He also declared that they do target for heavier tonnage load tests and load tests which are over standards.

He mentioned; they have a different place in the load test sector as they are being the only manufacturer of 100 Tons capacity water bag and that gives them advantage for their company , also told that having experienced and self-confident team is obligatory in this business.

Captain Ercan Hacifettahoglu whom mentioned that although the weight test in Baku should be hard to do because of the physical reasons like the barge’s very special structure and the crane’s height of 100 meters , it has been carried out very easily and safely with the products and the experience they have .He reminded that they aim for the load tests of 1000 tons . He informed us that they do aim for Offshore business which is dealing with oil & energy systems and their company has the capacity for this with crew ,equipment and the experience they have.

SAFETBAG Turkey Technical Manager Onur Akın informed us that they are experiencing the reasonable pride of carrying out a load test for the first time at Caspian Sea region, in spite of every kind of physical disadvantages and problems, the load test have competed due to schedule and succesfully and he wanted to thank to everybody whom supported as first of all to the managers and personnel of even to Palmali Marine and KHAZAR GLX shipyard at Baku and he even told that they enjoyed to work at that region .

Onur Akın told that having a good equipment stock and experienced personnel staff is extremely crucial for these assignments , he also told that he is happy in the name of both themselves and their country because of the test done and finished succesfully as he already underlined that being in the SAFETMADE family is giving trust and comfort to him .
